Can the latest phone models from Blackberry alleviate some of the pressure on RIM? The Bold 9900/9930 phones mentioned in a previous post and the Torch 9850,9860 9810 are all being released this month. At the same time Blackberry are also preparing for release of another phone – the Blackberry Colt – and, if rumours are correct, this will be at the end of 2011 although it is more likely to be the 1st quarter of 2012. The information available so far would suggest we can expect a processor not much different from the current 1.2ghz used in the Bold 9900 and a 4.3 inch touchscreen.

Finally there’s something new for Blackberry lovers to Cheer about. Blackberry in the Media event has announced that they will soon launch the Blackberry Torch 9860 Phone.

The Samsung Wave II S8530 is the successor to the impressive Samsung Wave S8500. Nokia was unable to compete in the Smartphone category with its Symbian Os against the IPhones and Android’s. But now times have changed Nokia understands that they cant stick to Symbian forever. So they have launched Nokia N9 which has new Meego Os. The phone has a beautiful sleek design, magnificent 3.9″ curved AMOLED of FWVGA resolution and 1GHz Cortex A8 CPU, PowerVR SGX530 GPU, TI OMAP 3630 chipset.
Thus phone certainly looks solid on paper with its great specs and it would be interesting to see how the phone eventually does.
